Yo...There is nothing wrong with changing things up. You have incurred a lot of expenses this year. Plus you might enjoy a canadian fall trip and the use of your new porch too. Sounds like a great plan to head to Mexico for a few weeks with the family. As far as a trip to Ireland you will have the time of your life(used to live there) and a trip to Greece is wonderful. We went to Crete 11 years ago and had a special time there. Rented a car and drove all over the island. Met some dutch people there and they made the move to Crete permanently. It get tiring trying to live each day like it is your last! Also some blogs I have read the writer seems to be so bored of doing the samething over and over. I think you have aome amazing fun travels coming up. We really need to take a trip to Canada just simply to relax and not be glued to the television and newspaper every day to see what stupid thing has happened next. With the rise in the number of quality Air BnBs, your trip to Ireland and the European continent could be easy and comfortable. I've heard compliments from Contessa regarding Colin's and her use in Italy of an Air BnB. Kevin and Ruth have used Air BnBs. Les used them on the road in New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland. AND, Rae is thinking about turning a portion of her newly leased house in Merida, Mexico into an Air BnB. The pricing is a heck of a lot more reasonable than a hotel room. I won't spend a nickel in the USA until Herr Trump is out of office. Save your money for Cabo, Ireland and maybe even Greece. I would like to keep our $$$ in Canada and maybe help the BC tourist economy that has taken such a hit this year. I think flying to Mexico, direct of course, would be awesome way to spend the dreary January/February months. We did that a few years ago and it was great.<br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08887975830530166834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5414957110325310952.post-49074127167296794622017-08-16T16:28:28.043-07:002017-08-16T16:28:28.043-07:00No matter what you do you need to feel comfortable...No matter what you do you need to feel comfortable with it, And I am sure you will make the right decision whatever it may be. The trip to Ireland is going to happen in July (no firm dates for the wedding yet) and we are thinking of adding a vacation in the Greek Islands and/or Malta with that trip. Turn it into a couple of months. There is also the seven month limit to be away from Canada to consider.Crofthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17634815881045387152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5414957110325310952.post-50853690289056101852017-08-16T14:02:21.808-07:002017-08-16T14:02:21.808-07:00I agree with what Contessa says.
