THIS is the kind of US aid the world wants to see! Not guns and bombs but technology to help people! The escape capsule was designed by NASA engineer Clinton Cragg and built by the Chilean Navy. The T130 drill was loaned by an American company and the driller, Jeff Hart, is an American who was brought over from Afghanistan where he was drilling for water. It appears the combined operation is a complete success! All 33 of the trapped miners will be rescued!
