This Blog was created to chronicle our travels in Mexico but has since morphed into something else entirely. Our periodic Mexico travels are still in here but if that is why you came here, you will have to dig a little to get to it. Try searching the Blog Archive in the right hand column.

Kiva Loan to Alfredo in Equador
I was just notified by Kiva that I have enough credit to make a new loan. I decided to help out Alfredo Antonio Maldonado Villavicencio who lives in Guayaquil (Fortin), Ecuador. Alfredo has a locksmith and furniture making business that employs three people. He needs the loan to buy modern locksmith tools to make his business more efficient and profitable. Alfredo has two children and works from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm every day.
Thanks to reading your blog I joined Kiva and have made a couple loans. I enjoy hearing about your travels and your comments on current events.
ReplyDeleteI joined Kiva last month as well. I'm not sure how your blog escaped me for so long, but now I'm reading and enjoying it immensely.
ReplyDeleteKiva is a great organization!
