This is the famous crossroads of highways 61 and 49 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. It was here where Blues Man Robert Johnson made his deal with the Devil to become the Blues legend that he was! This site has become the inspiration of many generations of Blues performers including The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton. The last two photos are of Abe's Bar.B.Q which has occupied the site at the intersection since the 1920's.
