I walked over to pay my propane repair bill and it was $213. Half an hour to diagnose and one hour to fix, plus shop supplies and tax. Expensive(ish) but it is fixed and guaranteed!
This is like when I had my furnace motor repaired. Easy job that I could have done myself, except that it involved propane. This is one area where I now know better than to muck around on my own. Your $200 buys a lot of peace of mind.
Hurts the pocket book, but that's one of those costs that you just have to swallow. Heating. (your water) Cooling. (your fridge) Not getting blown to smithereens. (You) Kind of important. Worth the cost.
I am a retired telecommunications technician, Union Activist/Organizer and Political Junkie (Lefty), adult educator - Union Leadership, Parliamentary Procedure, Public Speaking. I live six months a year in Canada (to keep my Canadian Medical coverage) and six months somewhere else - currently Mexico. THE MOTORHOME: A 2005 31' Tioga Class "C" we bought in Texas in March 08 with only 4000 miles on it! It is the perfect size for Mexico.
Rats... I was way low. Same luck with the lottery. At least you can travel safe(r) now.
ReplyDeleteBill in Nebr.
At least it is fixed...most important. Have a good travel day.
