Got My Booster Shot!

I got my third Pfizer shot yesterday. No real problems but the minor headache I had after the first two was not there but was replaced with a slightly sore arm that I never had before. It only showed up when I laid on it in bed so not even worth mentioning.

The anti-vaxx fools are still at it. One of the most vocal here in BC was found dead in his apartment in New Westminster and I see anti-vaxxer Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rogers who was convinced he knew more than doctors and scientists is now sidelined with Covid.

I still feel that anyone has the right to decide for themselves if they want the vaccine or not but I also believe these people should not be allowed in any public or private building, including hospitals. This would apply to the public as well as employees. With choice comes consequences. You may choose to not get a drivers license but you can't then go and demand your "right" to drive without one. Consequences.

    2. I am awesome. Enjoying going to hockey games for grandson #4. He was at a tournament this weekend, so I watched 5 games. Unfortunately, they didn't win at the tournament.

  2. Everything we think and say and do has consequences for ourselves and for others. Like ripples on a pond our actions spread out and affect others because everything is interconnected. And we need to remember that our actions are irreversible.

  3. Absolutely! Tomorrow I'll be two weeks out from having my booster and senior flu shot. SO thankful and while still taking precautions, I feel another level of protection, which brings another level of security and less stress.

Happy to hear you've had yours. It astounds me some people would rather play cat and mouse with death.

    1. I got my flu shot a week or so ago but the special seniors dose was not available and the doctor's office had no idea when it would become available. They recommended the regular shot because it was better than delaying the shot in hopes of getting the stronger dose later. It is good you are getting it in Mexico.

    2. No..... we didn't get it in Mexico. Word is neither the booster or senior flu shot is going to be available here. A friend and I did a turn-around - flew to Tijuana, walked over the bridge to San Diego, got our shots, had lunch, walked back across the bridge and flew back to Leon. A long day - up and moving for 24 hrs. we weren't looking forward to the trip but we're so glad we did it.
