2008? Patzcuaro, Mexico
2009? Villa Corona, Mexico (near Guadalajara)
2010? Mission, Texas (on our way to Florida)
2011? Mazatlan, Mexico
2012? San Carlos, Mexico
2013? Rio Grande Valley, Texas
2014? Desert Hot Springs, California
2015? Right here, Mesa, Arizona
Maybe time to rename Croft's Mexico to Croft's SOB (South Of (the) Border)?
Whatever works as long as its warmer than back home.

Those were pre Blogging years. In 2001 and 2002 I traveled by myself or with my sister waiting for Norma to retire. 2003 - 2006 we were in either CA or AZ In 2007 we were in Mazatlan. We stayed home one winter of those three to look after Norma's dad who lived with us after Norma's mother died and her dad fell and broke his back (for the 3rd time in his life. He was tough). Before that I worked.
DeleteAh, okay. Was just curious. Thanks!
DeleteHow interesting!... I might look back on our 15 years on the road and see where we were on this date.... lordy! do I really have the patience to do that? Bill keeps telling me I should scan my daily journal to make this task easier... but... so far I haven't. We'll be in Lo De Marcus, MX in a couple of weeks... I'll be so happy to be in Mexico again. Love that you keep such good records...
ReplyDeleteI just looked back on the Blog and/or Quicken.
DeleteIf it is December - we are in Puerto Escondido. Best place to be - and have been for the last six years. Before that we were in Xico, Veracruz. That takes us back 12 years. My parents had me in 17 different junior high schools - we moved a LOT! My father was a consulting engineer working often freelance.
