New TV

Another job done (with photo :)). We bought a larger TV for the bedroom and I finally got a chance to hang it on the wall today. I used the same mount I built out of plywood and 2X4's a few years ago because it is bolted right through the wall into the bathroom cabinet and is stronger than anything I could buy. The job took longer than I expected but most of the time was spent hiding the yards of various cables and power cords from sight.

The new TV is a 24" compared to the old 20". It seems much bigger because it is the wider format so it matches the broadcast format and more of the screen is being used. The new one is a Samsung, the old one a Sharp. Anyway, Norma likes it.

    2. Good thing the new TV's have a delete channel function. Faux News, and the church channels, is the first thing I delete.

  3. We bought a 24 inch Samsung for the bedroom this year which is where I watch TV and it's great. It replaced a 19 inch and it just sits up on the cabinet and stores in the closet when we travel. Eric watches his own TV in the main part of the rig and we both have headphones and...everyone is happy. Enjoy.

  4. Croft, is it my imagination,or is Mr. George getting grumpier as he getting older.
    But I will fill you in on this,
    Appears he was married for 21 years and ran a restaurant prior to his cancer
    This From his post January 2016
    My daughter Johana texted me!
    You may know that I have two children. My oldest, David, died in 2010. David and I were close, and I miss him sooooo much!

    My youngest is my daughter, Johana. The two of us have always had a terribly challenged relationship. However, just this afternoon we exchanged text messages! Isn't that fantastic?! I am sooooo happy! :)
    End post;

    1. I missed that post back in January but I fully respect George's choice to keep pert of his life private. I am sure all bloggers do, I know I do.
