  1. Croft, just can't stop tearing up, tears of happiness!! Looks like President Biden behind the scenes is hitting the ground running first thing with the Covid-19 federal plan. Virtual hugs and kisses to you and everyone--OK, where's that big and nice bottle of wine I'm drinking!!

    2. Yes, it was marvelous, and she is such a great speaker.

Thank you Canada for having faith in us. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was the very first congratulatory message to President Joe Biden. I just love you all!

    1. If you are proud of your support of Trump then why are you afraid to post under your own name?

  6. It will be such a relief to get up every morning and know there will not be an autocrat in the White House much longer.

    1. As Yankeeflyer says above, we can start breathing again. If I never see that fat face on TV again I will be happy!

  7. The electoral college is a very undemocratic institution. In a contest that was not all that close, we had to wait a week to get a winner. The whole time wondering how the guy with 4 million fewer votes could even be in consideration. I'm happy but I truly feel a lot of this nonsense is caused by a system that with the right combination, the loser of the general vote can win. It just makes both sides nuts.

I live in Ohio, I'm very open about my distaste for Trump, have been from the start. I had a few people who I do business with, be rude to me yesterday-water off a duck.

  8. Now if Trump would leave like a gentleman, but he has no dignity.

    1. Michelle, just heard this morning that Trump's son-in-law (last name Kushner--can't remember his first name) is working with him to concede. But you're right about the dignity issue; the concession has to be about making a deal. Can you guess what he wants out of the "deal?"

      Delete
    2. Yes, his SIL Jared and his wife are both trying to get him to give it up. But I doubt that he will.

    3. Croft, if the "deal" is something he can't turn down. Kushner is the deal maker in the family. The offer he will make via the security agencies to Joe Biden will be that Trump will be given a pass from federal prosecution regarding 1) his current indictment by a Grand Jury (remember, he was labeled "Individual One" in that indictment) as to campaign funds fraud, and 2) regarding receipt of campaign funds from outside the country laundered through Deutsche (spelling??) Bank, just to name a couple.

  10. Good for Joe. He was always fairly moderate but I fear that's done now.

  11. You silly Canucks and your wild ideas.

Once Trump is assured there was no messing with the ballots and he truly lost he will conceded.

But let's not forget the left spent over 2 years chasing a Russian collusion that was proven false and then spent who know how much on an impeachment they KNEW had NO chance of removing him from office. But while they were doing that a Pandemic was spreading which people like Pelosi ("Come on down to Chinatown and enjoy yourself. Nothing to worry about") and DiBlasio ("downtown NYC is open for your enjoyment. Come on down!") seemed to not understand.

Those of you who blame Trump for the several hundred thousand deaths are clueless. It was people like Cuomo sending people with Covid into the nursing home that killed people.

I'm not a Trump apologist as he did plenty of things he shouldn't have and that tweeting was really unneccesary the brush you paint him with is the wrong color.

And btw, this "let's all get along now that "our guy" has won" isn't going to play well in the red areas (and make no mistake, there area lot more red than blue. Until it's proven that there was no hanky panky you're still up against some pissed off people.

    1. Don, there was what? 18 cases of alleged voter fraud brought before the courts and not one of them succeeded? It may have been more. "Show the proof" they said.
