This Blog was created to chronicle our travels in Mexico but has since morphed into something else entirely. Our periodic Mexico travels are still in here but if that is why you came here, you will have to dig a little to get to it. Try searching the Blog Archive in the right hand column.
Such little Deer. You should see ours, they'd hop over your little fence.
ReplyDeleteWe do have tiny deer on the Island.
DeleteI hear save on foods has a sale on deer food go buy some and leave it on the other side of the fence..that MEAN Norma!!cheers les
ReplyDeleteThey would still want flowers for desert.
DeleteGotta save those flowers.
ReplyDeleteShe has been pretty successful keeping them out this year. Only a couple of incursions and she discovered them before they could eat much.
DeletePretty ingenious plan by Norma to save her flowers. Doesn't hurt the deer either. Good work.
ReplyDeleteNo, our deer survive uninjured to find another breech in the defences (or in degate)
DeleteI bet Norma was there with a hunter's stance! :)
ReplyDeleteYou can bet on that
DeleteBut they're so purty!
ReplyDeletePoor babies - they just want a little sweet snack! Mean Norma...JK!!! Deer will wipe out flowers in a heartbeat and look so cute and innocent while doing so. Nice solution to the problem.
ReplyDeleteAs you know, our RV lot has been a buffet for local deer in the past, so this spring I planted four cedars at the far end of the lot specifically for the deer. They haven't TOUCHED THEM! In fact they've completely shunned our yard this summer!
ReplyDeleteAre they just messing with my mind???
