We were the last to arrive at just after 4:00. We quickly grabbed a drink and entered into the conversation and fun. There was lots of food and many topics as we exchanged stories around the patio. Before we knew it, it was 7:30 and the sun was down. Time to head home!

ReplyDeletePS: you're looking good Croft. Far better than the last time I saw you in the back of an ambulance.
ReplyDeleteThat was a whole world ago Rod. I am great!
DeleteLooks like a good time was had, but I am glad Rene' was there to keep control of all you "islanders". No telling what could come of a group like that left unsupervised.
ReplyDeleteYes, the playpen was a little crowded!
DeleteIt was a fun evening. I chuckled when reading JB's comment. You islanders were quite well behaved, I must say.
ReplyDeleteAs one of the Islanders I agree it was a great time .... especially when the topic turned to the province of Alberta!!!
ReplyDeleteThat sure would have been a fun Happy hour, and sure some interesting conversation as well.
ReplyDeleteI almost didn't recognize you my friend. Looking good. Always nice to get together with fellow bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI just tried to reply to an email you sent and it came back undeliverable. Looks like Google thinks my address is spam. *sighs*
ReplyDeleteNope, it's not in my spam folder. Weird, I have received many from you in the past.
