Gordon Ramsey's Fish & Chips - Las Vegas

Gordon Ramsey's Fish & Chips.
It was good! Right up to Dick's standards (a dockside place back home). It is an order at the counter and wait till your number is called place with a limited number of tables both inside and outside. We got an inside table as that was all that was left. I forgot my camera but the meal looked just like the photo in their add except the fish portions were maybe a little smaller. Norma ate 2/3 of her fish and maybe 1/2 of her chips which told me she really liked it. I ate all 3 of my fish plus her leftover piece but only 3/4 of my chips. Not a bad meal @ $15 each and we would go back. We could have done without the blaring music that the number caller had to scream over.

  1. I'll have to give it try! We usually get our fish & chips at the Yardhouse which just down the walkway from gordon ramsey (almost to the ferris wheel). The portions are too large, so we go mid afternoon during the week and they let us order the kids portion;2 pieces of fish with fries for $7. More than enough.

  2. So, at Gordon's you received three pieces of fish, fries, tartar sauce, and slaw for $15.00. Not bad for Vegas and a well-known brand name joint. We are putting it on our list for December.

    1. When I entered the receipt in Quicken last night I noticed we were only charged $11.99 instead of the posted $14.99. I don't know if it was a "seniors" thing or if it was because we refused the included soft drink and chose water instead. Either way, $11.99 was a much better deal!

    2. And no slaw. Norma complained about that.

  3. Ah yes, Dick's in Campbell River. My wife loves their gluten free fish and chips!

    1. John, in what does Dick's coat their fish for frying to have it gluten free? Maybe corn meal in lieu of wheat flour and beer.

    2. The gluten free must be an option, I am sure their regular batter is a regular flour based one.

  4. Seems a bit pricey for take out fish and chips, but then again this is in Vegas.

    1. We find everything expensive in Vegas but I did make a correction to the price we were charged in Dee's comment above. We were only charged $11.99, not $14.99. Not sure why but $11.99 is a much better deal!
