A Great Invention

This is a liter of milk that has been "Ultrapasturized" and can be stored in the cupboard until needed. It is a great product for Mexico where cold storage is not always available and also for us RVers with tiny (compared to home) fridges. This carton has an expiry date of March/09. I am sure it must be available at home but I never see it there.

  1. Augh! The memories! Augh! We had that stuff at my house growing up. My brother loved it. I found it tasted awful. Different brand, of course, but still the same idea. YUCK!

  2. I think they must have improved it since then Rae although it was not all that long ago (grin)

I really can't tell the difference as long as it is cold.

  3. While I can't say I've ever had this type of product, bit it's a cool idea. For these situations, I usually just buy powdered and mix it a bit stronger. Need coffee... LOL!

Loving your adventures so far, C&N. Keep it up!

  4. These are the best for RVers! You can get them in some stores in the U.S. but they're really hard to find. I look for the small 6 packs, and keep em on hand for baking recipes, since we don't drink a lot of straight milk.

Thanks for mentioning that you found it in Mexico, because now I know they might be easier to find in Mexican stores in the states!
