Progress Report

The top photo is the main bathroom with the cement board fastened down waiting for the tile. You can see the difficulty here. The tiles have to be laid under the cabinet all the way to the wall and there is only seven or eight inches of space between the floor and the bottom of the cabinet. It is going to be difficult to get the tiles laid properly up to the wall. It will be a "lay on the floor and reach" thing.

The bottom photo is the new toilet installed in the small bathroom off the laundry room. This is actually the bathroom that gets used the most. It is the closest to the kitchen, TV room and outside patio. We bought a toilet with the "Dual Flush" system to save a little water. Norma's first question to the salesman was, "Why would you ever need two volumes of flush"? The salesman struggled with an answer but Norma could understand none of it. I finally came to his rescue and told her in graphic terms that a great big crap needs more water to flush down than a little pee. Now she got it. "Why didn't he just say that?"
