This Blog was created to chronicle our travels in Mexico but has since morphed into something else entirely. Our periodic Mexico travels are still in here but if that is why you came here, you will have to dig a little to get to it. Try searching the Blog Archive in the right hand column.
nice....
ReplyDeleteTough to be you! Good work on getting that shot.
ReplyDeleteThanks Don. There was a solid but high cloud cover that night but it was clear just above the horizon. Norma called me from the living room, I got my new Panasonic and started snapping in "Intelligent" mode. The camera took six consecutive photos per frame and combined them. This was hand held, leaning against the door frame, I did not have time to get my tripod.
DeleteNice! Muy tranquil!
ReplyDeleteGracias, mi amigo!
DeleteWonderful, Croft. I didn't get up to see the eclipse from here in El Dorado Hills, CA (in the foothills east of Sacramento) but know it must have been impressive. I LOVE watching the moon in its many phases.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary-Pat. Like my friend Calypso (above) I find the moon very peaceful.
DeleteCan't beat that view!
ReplyDeleteThe house is not without it's problems (mostly minor as parts of it are 100 years old) but the view makes it all worth while.
DeleteNow that's a photo worth framing! Love it.
ReplyDeleteLovely, good job. I use that lean on the door frame trick all the time, holding your breath helps also.
ReplyDeleteIt works quite well. This was taken at 1/30 second, f/5 ASA 3200.
DeleteGreat picture Croft. By the way we are in Utah and the shaw direct worked like a charm, with the older LNB
ReplyDeleteThanks, Good news on the Shaw Direct.
