Moon Rise

    1. Thanks Don. There was a solid but high cloud cover that night but it was clear just above the horizon. Norma called me from the living room, I got my new Panasonic and started snapping in "Intelligent" mode. The camera took six consecutive photos per frame and combined them. This was hand held, leaning against the door frame, I did not have time to get my tripod.

  2. Wonderful, Croft. I didn't get up to see the eclipse from here in El Dorado Hills, CA (in the foothills east of Sacramento) but know it must have been impressive. I LOVE watching the moon in its many phases.

    1. The house is not without it's problems (mostly minor as parts of it are 100 years old) but the view makes it all worth while.

  4. Lovely, good job. I use that lean on the door frame trick all the time, holding your breath helps also.
