Vote Now!

This is the last day to vote on our little poll off to the right!

  1. Croft, I saw my sister-in-law today and talked about health insurance.

She is fairly healthy and 64 years old. Her Blue Shield premium is $28,000 per year with a $2500 deductible and 20% co-pay.

As far as I know the only claim she every incurred was a gallbladder operation which was outpatient.

She retired this year and her income on social security is about $18,000 per year.

My wife and I are getting a bargain at $15,000 for both of us from Blue Cross.

BTW those amounts are in U.S. greenbacks.

  2. Croft,

You probably know Jan had her gall bladder removed three days before Christmas back here in Victoria Canada and spent 5 days in the hospital (pre and post op) at no cost to her. Not a dime to pay and top notch care!
