This was the sun at about 6:30 this morning bravely trying to burn through the smoke from the forest fires!

This Blog was created to chronicle our travels in Mexico but has since morphed into something else entirely. Our periodic Mexico travels are still in here but if that is why you came here, you will have to dig a little to get to it. Try searching the Blog Archive in the right hand column.
Hopefully smoke is all you will have to contend with for those fires.

It's about time.
Interesting sunrise, hopefully the smoke and forget fires will soon be gone.
ReplyDeleteLots of smoke here too, the temperatures are a bit lower due to the smoke cover!

Hi Croft. I am down near Nanaimo and saw the same beautiful sunrise this morning. I tried valiantly to get a photo of it, but everytime, I got an insipid looking pale sun. Did you use any special setting or filter on your camera? I fear that I am camera-impaired!

My little Panasonic camera does a pretty good job. Try aiming just off to the side of the sun, that might help.
DeleteThanks. I will give that a try tomorrow morning.
