Betty's RV Park

Here is Betty's RV Park in Abbeville, LA, "In The Heart Of Cajun Country". It is a small 17 space park with full hookups, fast WIFI and lots of friendly people!

And now for the best part! Every afternoon at 4:30, Happy Hour starts. Betty has a large common room that holds everyone quite nicely. Everyone brings a dish and there is always enough to go around and then some. Last night someone asked if anyone was interested in pizza so we all chipped in and someone went to pick up four huge pizzas. It cost us $4.50 each and there were actually two pieces left over when we finished. It was a fun evening.

  1. Howdy neighbors! I found you without using your card. Picked you up from Sharon Wallace's blog. I even see my Floribunda Flair and Petunia Smart car in one of your photos. I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all!

  3. Glad that your other plans didn't work out so that you could get down to Betty's this trip. We see you are being ensnared in Betty's web and that is a good thing. As you probably have discovered, Betty is a true Cajun, descending from a family that was expelled from New France. She is a member of the Cajun Hall of Fame and is by far the most hospitable campground owner/hostess we ever have met. We will be sure to stop in there again anytime we are close to that area as do many of those who ever visit once.
