8:45 PM update:
My lips are back to their normal size and my right eye is no longer frozen. I am on the mend. Pain is sitting at about 3 out of 10, maybe a bit lower. I have some powerful pain meds if I need it. I might not. I also have a full course of antibiotics to take every eight hours for several days. Norma went to the restaurant and bought me some tomato soup which I drank down. I am human again!
So far I can highly recommend the Quintero Dental Clinic. Give Chris a call and he will fix you up with an appointment.
A ride to El Tigre with Frank and Sandi.

Owwww. Take care buddy. No work for Norma this trip?
ReplyDeleteNo, just lucky me!
DeleteI sure hope that you are in the right hands this trip.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteCroft, you are a very strong man to go through all that dental work at one time. Thank goodness you have Norma by your side to nurse you through this. We aren't spring chickens any more, so get plenty of rest and liquids. If you know someone nearby in Arizona who has a US bank account, maybe they could go to their bank with your check, deposit the check in their account, and then withdraw the amount you need in cash and bring it to you while you are recuperating. Heck, I would do it, but I'm way over on the east coast.
ReplyDeleteGood idea Dee but they would probably "hold" the deposit for a number of hours/days. We will try to check this out.
DeleteThat is what Dr. Jesus said, "You are one tough cookie". LOL!
DeleteVery good news! Looks like the curse is definitely over.
ReplyDeleteYes, I hope this is it. $4700 US here plus the $2000 US I gave Sani two years ago for prep work that was mostly not needed and it is an expensive little holiday here in Mexico although nothing compared to what it would have been at home.
