The Royal Coachmen

We got an email a week or so ago from one of the guys I used to work with suggesting a "Pub Night" at the Royal Coachmen Pub last night. We arrived at about 5:00 and found several long tables at the back with about ten old workmates and spouses, mostly retired and some planning to retire soon. It was a fun evening with pints of beer and food. We do not have the stamina we used to have and things started breaking up by 9:00. It is hard to believe I have been retired for over 14 years!

      Alex is always happy. He may not entirely grasp the severity of the situation. ;) No, he was talking about buying an RV.

      Around November 1 - 5. We will stop in southern CA and test the weather. We will decide after that.

    I'd say you did pretty good, Croft, lasting all the way to 9pm! If your retired friends are anything like mine I'll be some good old stories got re-told and embellished a bit.

    21 years retired here ;-) Do not regret early retirement at all ;-) Part of the joy is having the time to read your Blog :-)
