We've been in Mazatlan almost two weeks.

This Blog was created to chronicle our travels in Mexico but has since morphed into something else entirely. Our periodic Mexico travels are still in here but if that is why you came here, you will have to dig a little to get to it. Try searching the Blog Archive in the right hand column.
So here's a question... completely unrelated to football cause I don't give two figs about the Superbowl...
ReplyDeleteYou know how you guys have had all these $$$ emergencies on this trip? The RV, the tow car, the dolly, etc... Is it all leveling out over the years? No problems for a few years and then a slew of $$$ shelled out at once? Or is it more dependent on the age of the vehicles?
We have cash saved for when the problems start, but hopefully it evens out over the years, instead of whacking us all at once.
It evens out Kelsi. The major damage to the MH was due to a road hazzard (I think). Some years it has cost us nothing. We tend to put a lot more miles on than most people so that has it's consequences as do the type of roads. Mexican topes take their toll and we have hit a few. George, who comments here says he budgets $2,000 per year to maintenance and repairs. That is probably a realistic figure averaged out over the years.
DeleteKeep your stash of repair money, you will need it eventually.
A pathetic display from Denver (not unusual in their SuperBowl history). Started as championing Denver but not really following - happy to Seattle win. A very super teams.
DeleteWooohooo Seahawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBig smile! ;) Their fans have waited a long time. What a game!
DeleteYaaaaaaa Seahawks!
ReplyDeleteGreat game to watch....! Great win for the city of Seattle (the Number 12 man).
ReplyDeleteSeahawks rock!
ReplyDeleteCroft, did you see Burro Hall post today?

I have never seen that Blog, Rick. Thanks for the link, I have some reading to do. So my hatred of Coca-Cola for supporting homophobic Russians is shared by dumb right wingers for supporting non-English speakers. Interesting!
DeleteThe guy that writes the Burro Hall blog was and still is a writer producer for 60 minutes in New York where he spends time when not in Queretaro, Mexico.
