We've been in Mazatlan almost two weeks.

This Blog was created to chronicle our travels in Mexico but has since morphed into something else entirely. Our periodic Mexico travels are still in here but if that is why you came here, you will have to dig a little to get to it. Try searching the Blog Archive in the right hand column.
what I am sorry about is that your pros beat our pros... sure miss the days when the non-pros played for the medals...
ReplyDeleteIf Olympic hockey was reserved for amateurs John, Europeans would dominate!
DeleteWe'll see how long it takes for you to get through immigration on your way home. :^)
ReplyDeleteOh, oh!
DeleteCongrats to the Canucks.
ReplyDeleteWhat's that medal count again?
Oh yeah, USA=27, CAN=24
:D
It's not over yet!
DeleteStick with counting the Golds for starters, and then chew on this. One tenth the population, and yet we seem to be keeping up. Hm.....
DeleteHey Don, only on american TV do they count total medals. In the rest of the world they count Golds first. That means the Americans are in 4th place. Just sayin'
ReplyDeleteOnly in your dreams Rod and Sylvia. Only in your dreams. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe US has a population of 317 million to pick athletes from while Canada has 35 million. That is a factor of almost ten.
DeleteBut in Canuckland the kids are born with pucks in their hands....
DeleteNow now be nice you folks..Croft that was a brave sign at least on my blog I only looked like a nutty Canuck...any Swedish readers want to join in...Go Canada!!!! les
ReplyDeleteLes you are a nutty Canuck - scratch that - Brit - scratch that - Mexican.
DeleteIt was a great win today, Croft, and well deserved.
ReplyDeleteBring on the Volvo drivers! Go CANADA Go!
ReplyDeleteFinally, leaving a few bread crumbs for someone else. They can't be number one in everything and forever. Boo hoo hoo.
ReplyDeleteWell it was an awesome game no doubt about it.
ReplyDeleteGreat rivalry that only sport can deliver. I still have difficulty accepting the fact that multimillionaire hockey players are considered - by many - to be Olympians. They don't fit into the Olympian definition. It seems this could be the last Olympics featuring NHL hockey players. The NHL owners no longer wish to lend their players to the event.
ReplyDelete"...So awesome" - and yet you run out of there below borders every winter - the only ice you see from Canada is on TV. Congratulations! ;-)
ReplyDeleteTrue John but we put in our time in the frozen north! We once had to dig down about five feet to find the roof of one of our mountaintop microwave sites. Now I prefer watching it on TV.
