Norma Randle July 27, 1942 - March 24, 2019

Norma Randle July 27, 1942 - March 24, 2019
At 10:15 PM Sunday night we lost Norma. Friend, Lover, Wife, Mother, Colleague, Socialist, Feminist, Unstoppable Political Dynamo, Union Organizer, Fierce defender of lost causes. This leaves a gaping hole in my heart and I can hear her telling me to "Get moving and get on with it. Quit whining!"
The photo is at our friends Juan and Chris' home in Monterrey, Mexico. She was always happy in Mexico.

  2. I found Norma's blog on quilting a number of years ago and checked it every day. She came across as a really nice person, someone I would have liked to meet in person. Seeing this picture of Norma and you , I knew I was right I would have liked to known her. I'm so sorry to hear this terrible news, my thoughts are with you and your family and friends. May she rest in Peace. Barb. Montreal.

  11. My greatest memory of Norma was at the house in Campbell River early in the morning. She sat at the breakfast nook having her coffee, looking at the old radio and listening to CBC news while were in the den using the internet. She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed. Our hearts go out to all of you; Croft, Brooks, Linda and the grandkids. QEPD
