We are going to take the walk on ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel tomorrow for a few hours of sightseeing and lunch. It is a 45 minute ride across the Caribbean and the boat leaves from Playa del Carmen. We drove there today to find out the schedule and check out parking. The ferry is every two hours on the odd hour and costs $11 USA per person each way. Parking is close by and is $10 Pesos per hour. We will aim for the 9:00 AM ferry.
Here are a couple of photos of the ferry dock and the beach. Playa del Carmen is a very beautiful place. If you click on the top photo you should be able to see the skyline of Cozumel on the horizon.
