Marriage equality

Four States out of four with marriage equality on the ballot have approved it. I have no horse in in this race but this is an historic moment!

Most (some) of my gay friends have no interest in getting married but it is important to have the option!

  1. It was a very historic election on several fronts last night including gay rights.

  2. We can hope that the gridlock will end and both sides will work for the benefit of the country. I have doubts that will happen.

  3. On this subject you and I and my old Dad, bless his soul agree! He always said with a little levity in his voice "Now why shouldn't a gay couple have just as much right to be miserable as a straight couple."

    1. Your Dad was a wise man John. Now if we could just get rid of Harper...

    2. Now, now my Dad would not agree with you, but isn't it great that we have the right to disagree. Travel safe on your journeys and remember we have room here at Dogpound South for wandering souls. And although we are not big on "orange" here we won't make you wear "tory blue" either.

    3. I would wear my "blue" jeans. Thanks John! We will travel safe.

  4. It just makes me sick. All Americans should have the same rights. Marriage equality is basic civil rights and should always win in a landslide.
