Short Rant

The recent suicides of five youths in the USA are directly related to the homophobic hated being spewed from the pulpits by so-called "religious" clergy. These "do as I say, not as I do" hate mongers in their Catholic robes and Mormon "magic underwear" must stop spewing hatred long enough to look at the effect it is having on our children. Kids are not born with hatred towards others. It is learned in the home, taught by their parents and friends. The result is thinking it is OK to bully those who are different than themselves. If there was a "Hell", there should be a warm place reserved there for those hypocrites who spew, encourage and spread this hatred.

Note about photo: Do YOU know where your children are? Is this child learning "Christian" love and tolerance?

Schools have to be brought into line. Bullying for any reason is unacceptable and bullying for reasons of sexual orientation are hate crimes and must be treated as such. There is a place for everyone in this world and we are all entitled to the dignity and respect we deserve.

This is where your donations are going. Are you OK with this? Are you doing anything about it?

  1. Croft, you can add to this the U.S. military's ridiculous "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Gay men and women are dying in our wars - yet they are required to LIE about their sexual preference if they wish to continue to serve in our military. The larger message being sent by this U.S. government policy is that discrimination against gays is OK - afterall, the government does it. It makes me FUME!

  2. It pains me to see such intolerance towards those who are different from the majority. If people would just turn to nature they would find the answers.

For some, what is supposed to be the best and most memorable time of their lives (high school) becomes a living nightmare, one that is forever etched in their minds.

I ended up changing schools. At the new school I wasnt noticed at all so it wasnt much better. A past memory, one that is easily forgotten. Who would want to remember.

I would have loved to have been in a school club, gone to the games, parties, etc. I enjoy watching the show Glee, thats the way school should be for everyone.

  3. Hatred isn't restricted to any group; it seems natural for people to want to feel more important than others. Religions do seem to make it worse though.
