Before the brake guy could take the car Humberto came over to say the painter was going to pick the car up to give it a good wax job. The brakes will have to wait until tomorrow or the next day. The painter got here at about 5:00 and took the car away, promising to have it back tomorrow. He said he wants to wax it so that if anyone asks me if he did a good job, I can tell them what he did. We are happy with this paint job. If you are looking for a good, reasonably priced paint job and you can get to Cuernavaca, Humberto will arrange a meeting with this guy.
Other than this, it has been a very quiet day. Our Manitoba neighbors forced me to drink too many beers and mezcals last night so it is a stay at home (and inside) kind of day.
It's a good thing Igor broke down!

Naughty boy! Bet you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteDarn those Manitoba people - take you kicking and screaming! ;)
ReplyDeleteI hate it when people tie you down and force all this good stuff down your throat, but only the next day.
ReplyDeleteIt always seems like a good idea at the time.
I know all about those quiet days after the previous not so quiet evening - know it ALL TO WELL! Viva Carnival!
