Our young Mexican friend got called to Mexico City yesterday for business. He will make a call for us from there to try to make things easier or at least clearer. In the meantime I will try my friend Eric's suggestion and tap the solenoid with a wrench. We may drive out to Cummins and see if we can find someone who we can communicate with.
We are tired of sitting here, we have to get on with the adventure!
It's a good thing Igor broke down!

There is nothing worse than setting and waiting for repairs to be made and not knowing when the repairs will be made.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Mexico! ;)
DeleteGood luck with your genny!
ReplyDeleteI think that is an excellent idea, drive to them and hopefully the exact problem will be discovered. Maybe you could have the part delivered to somewhere down the road so you can get on with it.
ReplyDeleteHiya Croft & Norma -- We haven't left Canada yet so reading your Blog makes us jealous. Made 3 trips to Cuba this past year and adopted a family their and brought them to Windsor so helping them get settled at our home. Also Mary required surgery in January so we had to hang around. Hoping to get out of here by the end of February.

Wow! You have been busy! The rules in Cuba for emigrating are changing so we may see more of them in Canada soon. Sorry about Mary, she has had her share of trouble.
DeleteCome on down! It is beautiful down here!
