36 F = 2.2 C

That was what the low hit last night. I bought a new indoor / outdoor thermometer yesterday so I could torture myself with this information! We are considering our options right now. Heading further in our originally intended direction will only get us into colder weather. It is not much fun having to stay inside all the time. Our new friends Frank and Kelly were over last night and we are talking about finding some warmer weather. Stay tuned, there may be an announcement!

Sorry, no change of plans. It looks like it may be warming up in Lafayette, LA on Saturday, maybe up to 70 degrees.  Norma has her heart set on seeing New Orleans and Florida so we will stick it out here for a bit longer. Tonight will be a "hard freeze" with lows to 30 so I may have to disconnect the water and use the tank. I do not want the hose to freeze.

  6. We hit -2 overnight with a few inches of the white stuff.
Expecting a lot more tonight, about 20 cm for the morning.
The Campbell River roads are slippery and in bad condition.

  7. Gosh! Here we are in Kelso, Wa - on the 2nd day of our journey south - and all we are reading about is cold weather everywhere in the southern US. It is presently snowing here - about 40 minutes north of Portland, Oregon. Weather is to turn to rain and 50+ temperatures tomorrow.

Sure hope you guys start your sunny and hot weather dances soon. We're on the way!!!!
